About Arts Wayland and @theW Gallery
Arts Wayland Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. ID# 04-2720386. All contributions are tax deductible.
Arts Wayland has been a part of Wayland and the surrounding community since its founding in 1981 as a non-profit educational organization.
In December 2018, we began a new initiative - @theW Gallery - in the Wayland Shopping Center. This 3,200 sq ft space with large windows is an art gallery and community art space. We welcome artists and non-artists to be involved in this all-volunteer initiative. We have been allowed use of the space with the support of the owners, and with the assistance of the management company, National Development.
Future plans for the space include exhibitions of all art media; programs: art demos and workshops; music: bands, recitals, jams, vocal; poetry and literature readings; book groups; art talks; dramatic performances. Artists of all media should apply to be involved.
Special thanks to Chris McMahon, Summit Realty Partners; John Tardiff, Summit Realty Partners; Dave Costello, National Development; Sharmeen Dossani, Zurich Company; Sarkis Sarkisian, Town Planner of Wayland; Paul Chorzewski, National Development, for making theW Gallery possible for the community.
