I have worked in most media, but concentrate in watercolor and gouache. In addition, I love to explore the three-dimensional world, and have sculpted in clay, paper maché, paper pulp, and antique gesso. I enjoy experimenting with collage, and have created a series of tropical fish in egg shell mosaic on wood.
I have been teaching for many years for the Recreation Department of the Town of Wayland. I teach Drawing and Painting, which is a studio class offered to all levels of students interested in instruction in drawing (graphite, colored pencil, and pen and ink) and/or painting (watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and oil). An individualized program is developed for each student, which gives the student the opportunity to pick a medium and subject and to work at his/her own level.
