Judy Schneider is currently a resident of Framingham, Ma. She grew up in a small neighborhood in the borough of Queens, NY. and was the eldest of three daughters. She attended Queens College where she studied art and geology and was exposed to the art scene of the 60’ and 70’s.
She moved to Ma. with her husband in 1978 and they raised two sons. Unfortunately, her husband became seriously ill and died within a short time.
It was at that time that she returned to her painting to express both her sorrow as well as the joy she felt for each precious day of life.
She started attending painting classes at the Danforth Museum and eventually became a founding member of the White Rabbit Studio and Gallery in Marlborough, Ma.
Painting has allowed Judy to reveal her passion and robust feelings for life and its’ surprising daily occurrences.
