I have painted and drawn since I was about 8 years old. I have worked with private tutors, art associations, visual art centers, and guilds. In addition, I studied at Rhode Island School of Design, The School of Visual Arts, and Cornell University.
After college, I began to focus on depicting nature scenes that were inspired by my experiences in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Minnesota; Sarasota, Florida; Costa Rica; Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Early in my career, I worked in oil paints. Later I branched out and created art using pastels andwatercolors. They offered me a new challenge and they didn’t involve the chemicals that oil paints require so I could use them in any unventilated room. Recently, I moved to Framingham, MA and joined the Newton Art Association along with the Framingham Artists Guild. Before moving I spent time painting outdoors and plan to do more near my new home. I am no longer on Linked-in but still at Facebook.
My work has been exhibited in Colorado, Connecticut, Wyoming, Montana, New York and Massachusetts.
