We are in our new home at 57 Andrew in Wayland Town Center! There will be exciting opportunities for everyone here, from taking/teaching classes, enjoying music nights, a new podcast series being broadcast from theW, and sharing our art with the community.

We listened to the feedback from you about the Members’ Salon and we’re making a few changes to help make it better meet your expectations to provide you with wonderful ways to share your work.

We’ve set the new hours and hope these new hours will help facilitate your gallery sitting responsibilities that go along with exhibiting your work. They are:

Thursday, 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Friday, 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Each exhibit will be up for four weeks, generally corresponding to the calendar.

There will be a gallery sitting requirement during the time your work is showing. Please go to and register for your account if you haven’t already, and choose two time slots that you’ll be gallery sitting. By doing this, we can insure that we can be open for our new hours.

If you live outside a 10 mile radius from theW, we will happily consider exchanging gallery sitting responsibilities for working on other activities to help out. Please email Judi Stein, if you would like to be considered for the swap opportunity.

We will accept up to ten pieces from each artist. Artists can apply to participate in the salon as often as they want; however, first-time participants will be given priority if space is limited. 

Submissions should be made online. Please have your photos, dimensions, names, et cetera, ready when you go to submit your work. Artists are responsible for their own sales, with 80% going to the artist, 20% should be donated to Arts Wayland.

All of the work should be framed or professionally displayed, and be ready for hanging with D-clips, wire, and labels (name of piece, artist’s name, medium, dimensions, price on the back).

All sales will be handled by the artist. Twenty percent of each sale will be donated to Arts Wayland.

A general announcement about the ongoing Members Salon will be sent out to the Arts Wayland mailing list; however, publicity about the artists who are exhibiting during each period will be the responsibility of the artists.  

When you know what works you are planning to exhibit, please upload your images using the submission from. Each image should be labeled as follows: last name_height x width_image#.
